Laying Low
I’ve been taking it easy the last week or so while waiting for my withdraw from eWalletXpress to make it to the bank. Originally the plan was to move the balance to Full Tilt and revive my account there, but now I find they no longer accept eWalletXpress (there goes another payment processor). So, since deciding to pullout of Cake and Absolute I’m left with eChecks as my only deposit option on Full Tilt and Stars. It’s really damn annoying trying to move your bankroll. I’m sure the rooms like it since you can’t easily move your money from site to site, but for the players it’s pretty restrictive. Now I’m torn over continuing my boycott of Full Tilt and their rakeback practices, or giving Poker Stars my Social Security Number to make an eChecks transfer. Neither of these options is very appealing.
As for playing over the past week, I’ve mainly played the freeroll tourneys I’ve qualified for in the Full Tilt Fantasy Poker promotion. I’ve played 5 tourneys so far and I’ve cashed in 4. It’s not a lot of money, but it’s free money and it’s kept me in the game while I wait for eWalletXpress. The rest of my poker time has been spent playing small SNGs at Stars and gold chip SNGs at Cake. Even though I pulled all my money from Cake, I was left with 4 gold chips and a gold card. So far I’ve turned those 4 gold chips into 59. My next challenge will be to turn these chips into cash. Wouldn’t that be something?
