Rakeback for Existing Absolute Poker Players
In February, Absolute Poker’s acquisition of Vegas Poker 24/7 was announced. Vegas Poker has been a successful skin of Absolute for some time now. Both sites share the same player base, and with the exception of the color scheme the software is identical. The word is sometime in the near future the Vegas Poker software will be replaced with the Absolute Poker software during a routine update. At that time all Vegas Poker accounts will be converted to AP. According to one of Vegas Poker execs, players with accounts on both platforms will be allowed to maintain both screen names. So, if you’re an long time AP player without rakeback, this could be your golden opportunity. Sign up for a rakeback account on Vegas Poker 24/7 and it will be converted to AP with the rakeback deal in tack. The conversion is supposed to be complete sometime in March, so you will need to act fast. My suggestion would be to signup with VP, make a deposit, and earn a little rakeback before the conversion to insure your account is tracking properly.
